Tarifa offers a tempting opportunity of a quick approach to the African continent. Tangier is practicable as a day-trip, since the journey by Fast ferry just takes 40 minutes.

Baelo Claudia in Bolonia where you can visit the extensive ruins of the Roman town, Jerez de la Frontera, celebrated for its wine cellars, Vejer de la Frontera, a classic white town set on a hill, the millenarian city of Cadiz, Conil among many other, which are all within an hour drive from Tarifa.
